What is Daktarin Cream?

Daktarin Cream is a treatment used to clear fungal infections on the skin and nails. The active ingredient miconazole targets fungal cells and makes holes in their membranes, killing the cells and preventing the further spread of infection.

Daktarin can be used to treat multiple fungal infections, including:

• Ringworm on the body and scalp
• Athletes foot
• Jock itch
• Fungal nail infections
• Nappy rash
• Pityriasis

How do I use Daktarin Cream?

After washing your hands, gently rub the cream on the skin to cover the affected area and surrounding area.

Apply Daktarin Cream in the morning and at night, and continue for at least 7 days after all signs of infection have cleared to prevent the infection from coming back.

Some common side effects can include a burning sensation, itching, redness or a rash on the skin, but if you experience a severe allergic reaction, stop using the cream and visit your doctor immediately.
